Clotho. Lachesis. Atropos. The Spinner. The Allotter. The End.
The Fates observe, the Fates judge, but the Fates never act. Until now. When six blue strings inexplicably appear amongst their sea of red thread, the Fates must weave a new story if they ever want to find an answer.
Klytemnestra. Helen. Kassandra. Iphigenia. Khrysothemis. Elektra.
Six women connected through family, war, and a curse. Six women bound by the strings of Fate and wrenched by the whims of man. Six women faced with one question: Is my life my own?
Amidst betrayal, murder, and revenge, these women must confront their destinies and make their final stand. As the Fates seek to understand the strange appearance of the blue strings, the women struggle against their shackles of grief, sorrow, and rage. Will the very string that connects them all strangle them in the end?

Paul Weller Takes Tea at Two
July 21 @ 8:45pm / July 22-23 @ 7:00pm / July 26 @ 2:30pm & 9:00pm
Riverside Studios, W6 9BN

Doc O'Connor, an ageing, troubled 'Modette,' finds her way to a bus stop in Maida Vale which sits across the street from the cafe where her hero, Paul Weller, has tea at two every day. All is not as it seems, however, when she's forced to confront her tragic past with her younger sister, Lisa. An homage to the music scene of London in the late 1970's, Doc and Lisa take the audience on a journey through musical history, fan culture, and sisterhood.
Paul Weller Takes Tea at Two is an innovative, surrealist take on topics such as mental health, domestic violence, and grief. We jump between the reality of the bus stop and the broken shards of Doc's mind as we unravel what happened to Doc and Lisa that fateful night in 1980. Songs by The Jam play throughout the piece, connecting the show to the gig culture of London in the late 1970s in a visceral and undeniable way.
Part of Riverside Studio's upcoming Bitesize Festival 2025.
